Giant' Jason Pierre-Paul Checked By Team Doctors Two Months After Fireworks Accident

New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul met with team's medical personnel Monday after staying away all offseason due to his contract situation and while recovering from a severed right index finger. The Giants were finally able to begin deliberations about when Pierre-Paul might be able to play, according to The New York Times.

The San Francisco 49ers have released veteran defensive lineman Darnell Dockett, who has an injured rib and did not did not play in the team's final preseason game against the San Diego Chargers. If Dockett doesn't quickly get signed by a new team, he pursue an injury grievance since players coud not be cut when they are injured.
