Hollywood football team LA Galaxy (10-7-7, 37 points) will host the Seattle Sounders (10-11-2, 32 points) in a high-profile 2015 Major League Soccer regular season game at their home field of StubHub Center in Carson, California on Sunday, August 9.

MLSGB noted that both clubs are "two of the best sides in MLS" and will be looking to improve their records in the overall standings. With 10 wins apiece, Bruce Arena's advantage is that his team only has seven losses compared to the 11 of Sigi Schmid's.

An 11th victory for either team would mean a lot to better position themselves in the coming postseason.

Los Galácticos had just blasted CFU Club Championship and TT Pro League winners Central FC, 5-1, in a CONCACAF Champions League match on Thursday, but their most recent MLS game was versus the Colorado Rapids last Saturday.

The Galaxy won that match, 3-1, via the MLS official website, to increase their lead over Sporting Kansas City, who are currently at the no. 4 spot in the tough Western Conference.

Rave Green had just pulled off a remarkable 1-1 performance against West leaders Vancouver Whitecaps in their CCL battle on Wednesday with Schmid using only a handful of reserves against the Blue and White, as per SB Nation.

With their primary starting unit rested and ready to take on the Galaxy, Arena should be ready to take on the challenge of the hard-fighting Sounders eleven.

The prediction is a resounding 3-1 win by Los Angeles over Seattle. Arena's men are almost unbeatable at home while the Sounders are not looking good coming from four consecutive regular season losses, losing five of their last six overall.

LA Galaxy starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Ricketts; Rogers, Leonardo, Gonzalez, DelaGarza; Lletget, Juninho, Gerrard, Zardes; Gordon, Keane

Seattle Sounders starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Frei; Remick, Marshall, Evans, Mears; Thomas, Pineda, Alonso, Friberg; Barrett, Dempsey
