It looks like new updates for "Captain America: Civil War" have been revealed regarding a major super villain making a cameo in the film and Scarlet Witch switching sides.

According to International Business Times, "MIB 3" and " Everest" star Josh Brolin has recently talked about his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the Mad Titan Thanos in an interview with MTV. Marvel fans already know that Thanos will be a huge player in the upcoming two part Avengers movie, "Avengers: Infinity War" part 1 and 2 as he now searches for the powerful infinity stones in the MCU. Thanos first live-action appearance was in the very first "Avengers" film (previously played by Damion Poitier) and had small roles in "Guardian of the Galaxy" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron". Could there be chance that Thanos might appear in the "Civil War" film soon?

Brolin teased that Thanos might make another cameo appearance in the upcoming phase 3 movies, but stated that it is up to Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios to decide which part will the villain show up in the MCU.

"I don't know which one I'm in," Brolin told MTV. "That's a Kevin Feige question. I know the trajectory of what they're doing , but I don't know exactly which one I'm in."

Brolin also shared that his character will take on all comers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe whether they are Captain America, Thor, Iron Man or the all of the members in the Avengers as long as he is "bringing the wrath" to them.

In other news, there are rumors making rounds that a certain character will be switching sides in "Captain America: Civil War" film.

Several reports have already revealed concept art images of the team members in both team Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) in the "Civil War" film. On Team Captain America; Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) and Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp),

On Team Iron Man; Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Vision (Paul Bettany).

However, one character is missing in the line-up is Elizabeth Olsen's character Scarlett Witch, who was originally stated to be in Captain America's side.

Fashion&Style reportedly claimed that Scarlet Witch could end up switching sides to Iron Man's team factoring in the possible (romantic) relationship she has with Vision similar to the comics. Aside from Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man (Tom Holland) is still in question as to what side he is on in "Captain America: Civil War". Everyone already knew that Spidey will join first in Tony Stark's cause, but will likely turn and join Steve Rogers' team similar to the comics.

Lastly, The Geek Mafia has previously posted several leaked images and screencaps from the "Captain America: Civil War" movie trailer in the 2015 D23 Expo in Anahiem, California two weeks ago. The photos show both Iron Man and Cap's team facing-off each other, Scott Lang meeting Steve for the first time, Hawkeye and Balck Widow figthing and Crossbones attacking the Avengers.

"Captain America: Civil War" will be released in cinemas on May 6, 2016.
