Chinese tech company Chuwi has announced that it would launch the follow-up to its flagship Hi10 2-in-one laptop on Sept. 12. Dubbed only as the Chuwi Hi10 Plus, the new device packs a lot of upgrades and might be the company's next flagship device.

The new Hi10 Plus can be easily confused with Chuwi's other product which is the Vi10 Plus. Both the Hi10 Plus and the Vi10 Plus sport a 10.8-inch display panel with 1920 x 1280 resolution and an aspect ratio of 3:2.

So far, the only clear difference between the Vi10 Plus and the Hi10 Plus are memory and storage space specifications. The upcoming Hi1- Plus has 4GB memory and 64GB storage space combo, while the Vi10 Plus only has 2GB memory and 32GB storage space.

Aside from the memory and storage space specs, the two devices are hauntingly similar. Both are powered by an Intel Cherry Trail Atom X5-Z8300 processor. Both devices also come with a massive 8400mAh battery pack that supports quick charging technology.

The two devices sport an aluminum alloy build that is only 8.8mm thin. Both devices come with an optional magnetic docking keyboard and an also optional Chuwi HiPen H2 stylus.

According to Giz China, the Chuwi Hi10 Plus is a dual-boot machine which runs on the Android-based RemixOS 2.0 when used as a tablet, and Windows 10 when used as a laptop. The Hi10 is expected to be launched on Sept. 12 and would cost $239.
