MacBook Pro 2016 Rumors: Disappointment, Not Excitement Expected?

(Photo : Kevork Djansezian/Getty Images) The price of a new 13-inch MacBook Pro is dirplayed during an Apple special event at the historic California Theater on Oct. 23, 2012 in San Jose, California. Apple introduced the new iPad mini at the event, Apple's smaller 7.9 inch version of the iPad tablet.

While a lot of Apple fans have already been excited to hear the official release date and specs of MacBook Pro 2016, recent rumors have claimed that they may get disappointed instead.

Where could this disappointment possibly come from?

Amid speculations that the upgraded MacBook Pro laptop from the American tech giant will finally be unveiled on Oct. 24 during an event which the company will be spearheading, Mac World UK appeared to be doubtful.

According to the tech site, the October release date of MacBook Pro 2016 looks unlikely because of three reasons.

First, the supposed schedule seems odd. Accordingly, Apple does not hold events on Monday nights.

Second, the anticipated launch just came from anonymous emails. Therefore, they may not be reliable.

Third, October is just too close for another Apple event. It can be recalled that iPhone 7 was just launched in September.

If these assumptions were true, consumers may need to hold their excitement a little longer before they can get hold of MacBook Pro 2016.

However, IHS Markit Technology Director for Tablet and Notebook PCs Rhoda Alexander has a different take on the upgraded MacBook Pro's availability.

In an interview with Forbes, Alexander revealed that "Production started in the second calendar quarter on refreshes of the 13.3-inch and 15.4-inch MacBook Pro [and] the 13.3-inch MacBook Air."

This means that there is a chance it will be released within this month.

While this may have put a smile on the Apple fans' faces, another detail may take that away.

The rumored Kaby Lake processor may not be incorporated in the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 models.

It was pointed out that "Since Apple seems to emphasize graphics these days, that means the new MacBooks would be locked into the older Skylake design for months."

Keep posted for more MacBook Pro 2016 rumors and updates on its release date and specs.
