UMi Officially Launched UMi Diamond 4G Smartphone
Chinese smartphone maker UMi officially launched its latest innovative device, the UMi Diamond smartphone, which carries a price tag of $119.99 (approx Rs. 8000 / 1347.96 yuan).
For those who are not familiar with the UMi brand, it is a China-based smartphone manufacturer that provides service to different markets around the world, including Southeast Asia, Middle East, Europe and Africa. It is behind several well-known devices, such as UMi Plus Extreme, UMi Plus, UMi Diamond, UMi Max, UMi Super 2 and UMi London.

The UMi Diamond 4G smartphone features tapered edges with a dual curved body and metallic framing for better grip. It has a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixel resolutions) IPS LCD with T2X-1 glass protection on the display screen panel.
The handset is powered by a 64 Bit MTK753 Octa-Core processor clocked at a speed of 1.5 GHz, paired with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and ARM Mali - T720 GPU onboard.
The UMi Diamond is equipped with 16GB built-in internal memory, expandable upto 128GB via a microSD card, runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and uses UMi's very own customized user interface laid on top.
It is fueled by a 2650 mAh Sony Li-Polymer 4.35V battery, sports an 8-megapixel Hi843b rear camera with flash (Interpolated to 13MO) support and a 2-megapixel SP2509 front-facing shooter.
Connectivity options of the device include Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4GHz/5GHz, GPS and A-GPS, while boasting a Distance sensor, Gravity sensor, Proximity sensor and Hall switch sensor.
The UMi Diamong 4G smartphone will be available in black, white, and gold color variants.
