Moto Z Play models ordered through the Moto Maker website have the same price tag as those ordered through Amazon. However, users who want to add Moto Mods into their Moto Z Play handsets need to pay more depending on the customization and added perks that they choose.

Users who bought their Moto Z Play smartphones via Moto Maker can also opt to have the unlocked version or the Verizon exclusive model called the Moto Z Play Droid. As for Moto Mods upgrades, it includes all currently available accessories. According to GSM Arena, these include the Hasselblad TrueZoom camera mod and the swappable back option.

The Moto Z Play has a 5.5-inch display with 1080x1920 resolution, comes with a Snapdragon 625 chipset with 3GB of memory and 32GB of storage space.
