An upcoming Meizu smartphone has been spotted in China's telecommunication equipment certification authority, TENAA. This new device was dubbed as the Meizu M5 smartphone and it is expected to be unveiled on Oct. 31.

Per TENAA's listing, the upcoming Meizu M5 smartphone features 5.2-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixel resolution).

The Chinese certification also revealed that the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek's MT6750 processor clocked at a speed of 1.5 GHz.

It is available in three models: the 2GB of RAM with 16GB ROM, 3GB of RAM with 32GB ROM, and 6GB of RAM with 64GB built-in storage. These models are expandable up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD slot.

The Meizu M5 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video calling purposes.

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box and Meizu's latest Alibaba's Yun user interface laid on top.

The listing also revealed that this device is fueled by a 3,000mAh capacity battery and measures147.3 mm x 72.8 mm x 8.2 mm and weighs around 139 grams.

Meanwhile, Meizu is also expected to unveil the Meizu Pro 6s smartphone this month.

According to leaks, the device could feature a full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) display, deca-core MediaTek MT6796 processor, Mali-T880 GPU, and 4GB of RAM onboard. The handset is expected to come with 64GB of internal memory storage and runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 operating system.
