Vernee reportedly claimed that its device, the Vernee Apollo Lite smartphone, is the first-ever handhel device in the market to feature the latest deca-core Helio X20 processor, along with an updated Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

Aside from the powerful processor of the Apollo Lite, it will also sport Vernee's updated customized operating system based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

According to the company, this updated feature comes with an optimized system and some fixed bugs. The official update will be rolled out this coming December.

The latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system will feature split screen support, easier app switching, better notifications, more efficient battery, and support faster replies.

The Vernee Apollo Lite smartphone  comes with a stunning 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IGZOLCD display screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 2.5D. As mentioned earlier, it is powered by a deca-core MediaTek's Helio X20 MT6797 processor, paired with LPDDR3 4GB of RAM onboard.

The Vernee Apollo Lite smartphone boasts of a built-in 32GB internal memory, which can be expanded upto 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

The handset has a 16.0-megapixel Samsung PDAFf/2.0 primary camera and a 5.0-megapixel wid- angle front camera for selfies and video chats.

Other features available on the Vernee Apollo Lite smartphone include the third generation Pressure type fingerprint sensor with 0.1s Lightning unlock speed with 360° Readability, next-gen USB Type -C port for guaranteed high-speed transmission, 4G-LTE DualSim Dual Standby, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS.
