There are rumors that the Cleveland Cavaliers are willing to trade Kevin Love and Mike Dunleavy to the Washington Wizards for John Wall and Marcin Gortat.

Love has always been mentioned in Cavs trade rumors especially after the team's recent NBA Finals win over the Golden State Warriors where veteran Richard Jefferson replaced him as a starter.

Love's ill-fit with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving was well-documented and so speculations that he is going to be traded in midseason has been persistent even as today.

One of the latest rumors about Love and the Cavs is a suggested deal with the Wizards, which are reportedly having an internal turmoil among their players at the moment.

There were reports that Wall has taken offense on Gortat's recent harsh comments about the Wizards' bench and that the All-Star point guard is said to be requesting that the starting center be shipped out of Washington soonest.

Not only that, Wall is also reportedly in a silent feud with backcourt-mate Bradley Beal, who has become the team's highest-paid player when he was granted a new five-year, $127 million deal during the summer.

HNGN reported that the Wizards could send Wall and Gortat to the Cavs for Love and reserve forward Mike Dunleavy in or before this season's February trade deadline if things do not work out in their locker room moving forward.

The report said that the initial deal included Gortat, Beal, and starting power forward Markieff Morris, but because of salary-matching restrictions, the trade would not be approved by the league office.

The revised scenario is approved by ESPN's NBA Trade Machine, which means it will also be legal when done for real.

However, some analysts think that such trade does not make sense for the Cavs since Cleveland already has Irving as their starter and Wall will definitely not accept a backup role in any squad.

Also, losing Love for Gortat would be a disadvantage for the defending champions. Love is also linked to the New York Knicks in exchange for Carmelo Anthony, which would be a better deal for the Cavs to take.
