According to EuroBasket, the 27-year-old American-Bulgarian point guard exploded with game-high 48 points. Adams connected nine of his 14 attempts from beyond the arc and went on a 7-13 shooting from the two-point range.

The former Spanish League Top scorer also posted seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals  while playing for a solid 44 minutes during the game. Adams also had a good free throw shooting night converting seven of the nine free shots awarded to him during the game.

Adams, who is playing on his first season in the Chinese premier basketball league, has been the Flying Tigers main arsenal since the former NBA player and Gilas Pilipinas hotshot Andray Blatche suffered an injury and was replaced on the team's roster temporarily by Ben Bentil.

According to Asia-Basket, the product of the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds is on the CBA's top leading scorers. Adams is averaging nearly 34 points per outing and places fifth in the league's top 10 players with the most scored points per game. He currently ranks seventh in the Chinese league in assists, while averaging 6.4 assists per contest.

The Flying Tigers are currently on a four-game winning streak and have joined the teams of the Guangdong Southern Tigers and the Guangsha Lions in the scramble for the second to fourth spot in the CBA's team standings with an identical 13-3 win-loss record. With Adams playing pretty solid game performances, Xinjiang is having a good chance in making it to the playoffs.

Adams is averaging an impressive 42.5 points in the last four games that his team has played. He also registered 6.25 assists in the same number of matches contested in the previous rounds of the regular season.
