It is a rather rare occurrence for New York Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis to get himself into a fight in the court, but he did in a game against the Phoenix Suns. The game was a surprisingly physical one, which saw Derrick Rose missing the last three quarters. And it would appear that the Suns are also bent into taking Porzingis down.

The on-court tension finally got the better of Porzingis who was fouled out with 1:34 remaining on overtime. The Suns eventually had the final say, snatching a 113-11 overtime win against the Knicks.

In a statement acquired by the New York Post, Porzingis said during the post-game press conference, "A lot of moments I'm angry. I always try to calm myself. That particular moment I was angry. Soon as the play was over and situation over, next thing I was thinking about was making those free throws."

With Rose out of the game, Porzingis struggled to keep the Knicks' offense afloat. Carmelo Anthony posted a horrible night with 13 points on a 3-of-15 shooting including an airball shot with just eight seconds left on the overtime.

Porzingis finished his game with 34 points, eight rebounds, three steals, and three blocks. Courtney Lee had 14 points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Kyle O'Quinn, who played off the bench, had 22 points, 14 rebounds, and two assists.

The Suns' offense was anchored by a strong performance from Eric Bledsoe who had 31 points, six rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and a block. According to NBA.com, bigman Tyson Chandler posted a double-double with 13 points and 23 rebounds.
