Samsung Throws a Major Shade at Apple with New Sarcastic Ad

Apple has recently unveiled the iPhone 6, which has two versions, and Samsung won't be standing there doing nothing as the latest Apple product competes with the big screens that Samsung first offered.

In the new ad entitled "Galaxy Note 4-- Then and Now", Samsung has talked about how the large screens of the company were criticized.

The narrator started by saying: "When the Galaxy Note launched in 2011, it was ahead of its time. And naturally when it is new and different, sometimes people are not ready for them."

The ad actually showed real comments and articles published on the internet by experts upon seeing the big screens.

The first was from an article online but the source was not mentioned. The narrator highlighted this line from the piece saying: "You look like you are talking into a piece of toast".

The next was from Mashable saying: "The note is an unwieldy beast".

No hard feelings though since Samsung said that the bigger screens are no longer being dismissed by competitors, instead, it is being imitated. We are pretty sure that statement was specifically for a certain company.

In the ad, it showed this article released by BGR with a very catchy headline: "The truth hurts, Apple fans: You can thank Samsung for your big new iPhone displays."

However, the narrator noted that the Note is more than just the large screens.

He noted that it is about being more productive as it showed this stylus being able to do things smoothly.

Another feature given importance was that the Note was more innovative in terms of its functions. Although the function they showcased was that of being able to write a note with one's sloppy handwriting that is automatically fixed by the "innovativeness" of the product, it actually makes sense.

And last but not the least, it is more fun... as in fun that you can sort of be a DJ for a few minutes.

After talking about their "cool" features, they also showed comments about the iPhone 6 saying that it's just imitating the larger display from Samsung's 2012 Note 4 model.

They also announced that "the next big thing" will be out by October referring to the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
