Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has announced that its newest device - the Vivo X9 Plus smartphone - will soon be available in China. The device is set to be unveiled this coming Dec. 26 for the price of 3,498 Yuan (approximately $503.22/Rs. 34,157.23).

The Vivo X9 Plus smartphone features an Aluminum built unibody design. It has a 5.88-inch full HD Super AMOLED display screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution support and a pixel density of 374 PPI. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor, which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU for the graphics. The handset comes equipped with a massive 6GB of RAM on board along with a built-in 64GB of internal memory storage.

On the camera side, the Vivo X9 Plus sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash support. On the front is a 20-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual camera setup. The 20-megapixel camera is a Sony IMX376 sensor with a f/2.0 aperture support.

The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Vivo's latest Funtouch 3.0 user interface laid on top it. The device is fueled by a 4,000 mAh capacity battery inside that supports fast charging technology.

The connectivity options that the device offers include 4G VoLTE with dual SIM card support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, OTG, and GPS. Interestingly, the smartphone also comes with a Fingerprint sensor. The handset measures body dimensions of 162 x 79 x 7.49 mm.

The Vivo X9 Plus will be available in rose gold and gold color variants.
