Chelsea striker Diego Costa has "angrily" refuted the latest rumors that he is set for a $37 million transfer to Chinese Super League club Tianjin Quanjian this summer.

Costa, 28, has been the subject of several transfer rumors linking him with a potential move to the Far East. His reported quarrel with an athletic trainer in the middle of last month has sparked even more speculations that Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte could indeed sell him to the highest bidder, particularly teams coming from China.

Costa and Conte had since denied those rumors, but another round of gossips have again gone out saying that the Brazilian-born Spain international has "agreed to move to China" with newly-promoted side Tianjin Quanjian at the end of the season in a £30 million ($37.4 million) offer, the Daily Express reported.

The 6-foot-2 Spanish forward, who had scored 15 times in a total of 25 appearances in all competitions for the Blues this season, had taken his ire in social media by posting a photograph of him handling a ball with the caption "They talk too much s***!!! Come on Chelsea!!!"

It was apparent that Costa is irritated by the persistent rumors connecting him to China as Chelsea is currently in a great position to capture the 2016-2017 Premier League title. Right now, the Blues are on top of the English top-flight standings with 59 points in 24 games, nine points ahead of closest pursuer Tottenham Hotspur.

Meanwhile, The Sun indicated that Quanjian wants to make Costa one of the highest-paid footballers in the world.

The Chinese club is said to be planning to give him a weekly wage of £570,000 ($711,000), second only to Shanghai Shenhua's Carlos Tevez and higher than what superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are getting from Real Madrid and Barcelona.

However, with his club's recent successes, Costa is keen on staying with Chelsea in the Premier League for the foreseeable future.

Costa is now in his third season with the Blues since they acquired him from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2014 for $40 million. He had scored 52 goals in 103 three games in all competitions for the Stamford Bridge giants since then.
