LineageOS was launched recently and is now available on several devices such as the OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 3, and ZTE Axon 7.

LineageOS is an Android-based custom ROM project by former team members of CyanogenMod that was launched in 2016. In January, it added some phones in mid-January for its official builds, and it includes Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X and Motorola Moto G4. Currently, it is adding more devices that can run the Nougat-based LineageOS 14.1.

Two of the current and best inexpensive smartphone flagships – the ZTE Axon 7 and OnePlus 3T – are receiving LineageOS 14.1. The ZTE Axon 7 recently received the Android 7.0 Nougat update which added support for Google’s Daydream View headset and also a fully integrated caller ID, spam detection, and call blocking service. The OnePlus 3T has 64GB and 128GB versions and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC with 6GB of RAM.

The download page of LineageOS shows the newly builds. The statistic page shows that it has 442,000 build downloads. Moreover, OnePlus One with CyanogenMod pre-installed has continued to get the most downloads with 35,000 downloads, while Xiaomi Redmi Note gets 18,000 downloads.

Other mobile devices that have received LineageOS 14.1 are a bit older including the HTC One M7 (both Verizon and unlocked versions), Sprint’s version of the LG G3. Samsung smartphones have also joined the group; the 2016 versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablets in 8.0-inch and 9.7-inch models have finally received the much awaited LineageOS 14.1 update.
