Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has announced that its latest fresh Green limited edition OPPO R9s smartphone will soon be available in the market. The limited edition device will go on sale on March 27 this month for the price of 2,799 Yuan or roughly equivalent to $406.
The new fresh Green limited edition OPPO R9s smartphone is the same set of specifications as the existing variants. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display screen with 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels resolutions, along with 2.5D curved glass display and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at a speed of 2GHz and Adreno 506 GPU for the graphics.

The limited edition OPPO R9s comes with a massive 4GB of RAM onboard and a built-in 64GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. On the photography department, the phone sports a 16-megapixel rear-facing shooter with 1/2.8" sensor, 6P lens, EIS, LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture, and capable of 4K video recording. On the front is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats.
The fresh Green OPPO R9s smartphones run on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with ColorOS 3.0 user interface laid on top of it. The phone is backed up by a 3,100 mAh capacity battery with VOOC Flash Charge technology support. Interestingly, the handset is also equipped with a fingerprint sensor embedded into the physical home button on the front.
Other features the OPPO R9s offers include Hybrid Dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G LTE with VoLTE network support, and GPS. The handset measures body dimensions of 153 mm x 74.3 mm x 6.58 mm and weighs around 145 grams.
