Lenovo has showcased a new 2-in-1 tablet-style device with an integrated and multi-purpose cover, naming it as Blade.

Lenovo’s multi-purpose tablet has a Miracast wireless display technology that allows the keyboard and display portion to continue working together even when the keyboard is detached. Moreover, Blade can connect with other Miracast devices with a possibility of expanding its functionality in the future.

Lenovo Blade might have its own PC hardware. It has a fascination concept, contributing a unique form factor to the Windows 10 PC ecosystem. The keyboard base could contain the components to run Windows 10 while it streams the desktop to the separate display using Intel's Miracast streaming software. Miracast would not only transmit a picture, but displays it. The Lenovo design materials notes that you could also use the slate as a touchscreen keyboard to interact with an external monitor.

Details are a bit scarce about Lenovo Blade. Specifications, price and launching date are not yet out with the public. But definitely, the company will unveil a new hybrid 2-in-1 soon.

The last devices that Lenovo has launched are tablets including Tab 4 family of tablets and the Yoga A12 convertible tablet, which was launched in February 2017. Moreover, it unveiled Lenovo P2 and the Tango-powered Lenovo Phab 2 recently.
