Voice doctor to the stars Gwen Korovin was outed Thursday as the physician who was in the operating suite without authorization when Joan Rivers suffered cardiac arrest on Aug. 28.

Not only that, but Korovin also was named as the doctor who thoughtlessly took a selfie while the late comedienne was under anesthesia.

Korovin won't make any comments, according to her attorney, but social media was commenting plenty this week with practically 100 percent agreement that she was wrong in her activity.

Plus, the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, a major accrediting group called for Yorkville Endoscopy clinic where the 81-year-old Rivers went for a seemingly routine procedure and wound up dead to suspend surgeries and procedures immediately. The clinic was continuing to schedule surgeries as of Thursday citing compliance with state and federal laws.

TMZ followed by CNN provided initial details on Korovin's activities inside the procedure room where Dr. Lawrence Cohen, clinic medical director, conducted the procedure entailing using a camera to examine and repair throat damage. He subsequently resigned as clinic director although some contend he was fired.

Korovin wasn't certified by Yorkville Enedescopy and despite having privileges at a leading New York hospital and slew of famous clients wasn't supposed to be allowed in the surgery office during the procedure.

Nonetheless, Korovin was there and took a selfie of herself while Rivers was under anesthesia. Not only that, but sources contend she began performing an unauthorized throat biopsy. That's when things went horribly wrong, Rivers' vocal chords started swelling, she went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to nearby Mount Sinai Medical Center where she died.

Korovin, 55, is a board certified otolaryngologist, or head and neck physician, who had a renowned Manhattan practice catering to the likes of Nathan Lane, Lady Gaga, Celine Dion and Hugh Jackman. Her office walls reportedly were adorned with photos of A-list personalities like the late Luciano Pavarotti, Julie Andrews and Barbara Cook. She was Rivers' personal doctor as well.

As yet, no criminal charges or civil actions have been filed against any of the parties allegedly involved in Rivers' death.
