Vivo X9 NBA Edition Smartphone to hit the Market on May 10
Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has officially announced its newest device called the Vivo X9 NBA Edition. The Vivo X9 NBA Edition smartphone will be available in a Blue color along with NBA's logo on the back panel on the phone. It will hit the market starting May 10 this year.

The NBA Edition Vivo X9 smartphone comes with a front bezel and an NBA-themed user interface. It has a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with the resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at a speed of 2GHz paired with 4GB of RAM onboard. It comes equipped with a built-in 64GB of internal memory storage. However, the phone does not have a microSD port.
On the photography department, the Vivo X9 smartphone sports a 16-megapixel rear shooter on the back. On the front is a dual-camera setup, which consists of one 20-megapixel sensor and another 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. It runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box with Vivo's customized NBA-theme that is based on the FunTouch 3.0 user interface.
The Vivo X9 is fueled by a non-removable 3,050 mAh capacity battery. Other features the device offers include a dual SIM slot, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB, and GPS. The sensors on the phone are a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope. It measures a body dimension of 152.6 mm × 74 mm x 6.99 mm and weighs around 154 grams.
The Vivo X9 NBA Edition smartphone is currently priced at around 2,998 Yuan ($507).
