Alcatel Pixi 4 Smartphone Launched in India; Features 6-Inch Display and Snapdragon 210 SoC
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Alcatel has officially launched its latest device called the Pixi 4 in India. The Alcatel Pixi 4 smartphone features a massive 6-inch display screen and 4G VoLTE support. It is currently priced at Rs. 9,100 ($142) in India.
The launch of the Alcatel Pixi 4 smartphone in India was led by Regional Director of Alcatel India, Praveen Valecha. According to Valencha, the company is committed to bringing the best technology and user experience at affordable prices in the country. He also highlighted the partnership between Alcatel with Advanced Computers as their offline distribution partners in India.

The Alcatel Pixi 4 smartphone features a 6-inch HD IPS display screen with a resolution 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at a speed of 1.1GHz paired with 1.5GB of RAM onboard. It comes with a built-in 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the photography department, the Alcatel Pixi 4 sports an 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies. The smartphone runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box. It is fueled by a non-removable 2580mAh capacity battery.
Other features the Alcatel Pixi 4 smartphone offers include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS with A-GPS, and Micro-USB. Sensors on the phone are accelerometer, digital compass, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor. It measures a body dimension 165 mm x 83.8 mm x 8.35mm and weighs 186 grams.
