It's going to be one grumpy Christmas as "Parks and Recreation" actress Aubrey Plaza is set to voice internet sensation Grumpy Cat's first movie. The said flick is entitled "Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever".

Aside from "Parks and Recreation", Plaza has also worked in the flick, "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World".

In the Lifetime Christmas special, Plaza will be voicing Grumpy Cat, whose real name is Tardar Sauce.

Tardar Sauce is owned by Tabatha Bundesen who first posted the feline's picture online in 2012. The photo sparked worldwide interest and, the cat quickly became part of meme history.

Tardar Sauce, now referred to as "Grumpy Cat" has already been feature on the front page of the Wall Street Journal and on the cover of New York magazine. Online, the cat has more than 6 million Facebook fans and has been turned into a recognizable meme a million times over.

Plaza seems to be the perfect actress to voice the cat, especially since she has been praised for her ability to act as if she could care less about anything. A perfect match for a cat who hates everything and everyone.

In the said Lifetime movie, Grumpy Cat won't be portrayed as a celebrity or internet phenomenon. Instead, she will be "a friendless cat living in a mall pet shop," who develops a grumpy attitude after people refuse to purchase her. Things change for the better (as they always do in Christmas movies) when Grumpy Cat is bought by 12-year old Chrystal portrayed by Megan Charpentier. Charpentier discovers that Grumpy Cat can talk and the two get involved with the kidnapping of an exotic dog.

As stated in the press release, the film aims to answer questions such as "Will Grumpy learn the true meaning of Christmas? Or will it be, in her words, the 'Worst Christmas Ever?'"

The film is directed by Jeff Morris, who also co-wrote the screenplay with "Garfield 2" director Tim Hill.

Aside from Plaza and Charpentier, actors starring in the film include Daniel Roebuck, Veronica Allcino, Isaac Haig, Evan Todd, and Shauna Johannesen star in the film, and stand-up comedian Russell Peters.

"Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever" will air on November 29 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
