Two people are in police custody outside Atlanta after shooting a man who was trying to sell a PS4 gaming system over Craigslist - proving that video gaming can indeed be deadly.

A 16-year-old girl, who has not been named by authorities due to legal restrictions, allegedly shot Daniel John Zietz, 28, of Roswell, to death as she and 20-year-old Nathaniel Vivian met Zeitz about a PS4 gaming system he sought to sell. The girl allegedly shot Zeitz with her 16-month-old baby only feet away from the shooting scene in the back seat of a car.

The shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. Monday in an apartment building parking lot on Treelodge Parkway at Sandy Springs, just outside Atlanta. Sandy Springs Sgt. Ron Moman said Vivian was seated in a car's passenger seat, then tried to wrest away the gaming system from Zeitz who was standing with the console in the parking lot.

As Zeitz and Vivian struggled, the girl allegedly picked up a .25 caliber handgun and fired a shot. The gunshot went through Vivian's hand and struck Zietz in the chest, killing him instantly, police said.

The alleged shooter and Vivian fled the scene, but ended up at Northside Hospital where they tried to get Vivian's hand wound treated. That's where police arrested the pair.

Vivian initially told Brookhaven police at the hospital he was a crime victim. He later admitted to being at the scene and attempting to rob Zeitz of the PS4 gaming system, police said.

Vivian is being held at Fulton County Jail with no bail set while the girl is being held at a juvenile facility. The baby was taken to relatives and the gun was recovered from their vehicle by police.

Zeitz was a popular gamer who was known online as Phobos. Friends set up a special online site to raise funds for his funeral gathering more than $10,000 in a day.
