Normality despite being in an unusual, messy, dramatic and chaotic industry - this is why Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's marriage has endured throughout the years.

The couple has been married for 18 years and, is one of the few enduring marriages in Hollywood.

E! News asked McGraw about his 13th album, Sundown Heaven Town, at the SirisXM headquarters. During the conversation, his long-lasting marriage to country diva Hill was also brought up.

The 47-year old country icon shared the secret of their success, stating, "I think, for us, being as normal as possible and raising our family and being in a family situation as much as possible...Certainly it's different because of what we both do, but we try to keep it as much of a family environment that we can." 

He also stated that family and spending quality time with their three daughters are priorities despite their busy schedules. When they are at home, they don't talk about work or music - business is left at the door. "It's a whole different world."

It also seems that being able to tour and perform with his wife has allowed the couple to be stronger and closer.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey last June, McGraw shared that he is so grateful to have a chance to work with his wife, to sing and tour together. Trying to hold back tears, the singer shared that he is amazed by her, every time they sing together.

"I think about the fact that we're married and the fact that we raised these three beautiful daughters. And then I think about having three daughters and having [Hill] for their mom. It's a pretty cool thing for those girls to have her," he shared.
