The new iOS 8 rolled out Sept. 17 and Apple released its first update, iOS 8.0.1 on Sept. 24.

According to reports, only iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users complained about poor signal and malfunctioning Touch ID finger print sensors after installing the update. Because of this, Apple was forced to stop the iOS 8.0.1 update to roll out the more stable iOS 8.0.2 update on Sept. 26.

Apple aimed to fix several bugs but according to a supposed hoax video, iOS 8 has a security flaw yet to be fixed.

The flaw involves an Apple iPhone running iOS 8 or iOS 8.0.2. The device should be plugged into an outlet or computer with the Allow Hey Siri option setting turned on.

When each of the abovementioned settings is met, a stranger can easily break into someone else's iPhone. The video shows how intruders can exploit this glitch but asking Siri a question. Users however, should press the home button and swipe to bypass the iPhone's security system.

An intruder may call out Hey Siri while the iPhone is on standby and activate its voice assistant feature. When Siri is asked about any information, it will load an answer and when the intruder hit the home button and swipes to the right, the iPhone won't ask the intruder to enter the passcode or Touch ID.

The video also said the glitch doesn't always work and it is rare but this is still a matter of concern for iPhone users.
