Actor and United Nations Ambassador for Climate Change, Leonardo DiCaprio reportedly quit his role in the biopic of Apple co-founder, Steve Jobs.

According to the source, DiCaprio bowed out of the project directed by Danny Boyle due to the conflict in his schedule.

Sources say that DiCaprio will be busy shooting the movie "The Revenant" by next week and he wants to take a break from acting. However, the representative of the actor has not yet spoken regarding this matter.

Sources have now given a new list of possible frontrunners for the said biopic and actors who were named are Christian Bale, Matt Damon, and Bradley Cooper. It is not yet clear who will be taking the place of DiCaprio.

Insiders are dismissing the rumor that DiCaprio and Boyle are not in good terms as they already worked in one project together during the movie "The Beach". Also, the scriptwriter for the biopic of Jobs is said to be Aaron Sorkin, the writer of the movie "The Social Network", which was about the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg.

"The Revenant" is slated to be released on 2015 and the plot is during the 19th century and centers on the story of a frontierman named Hugh Glass. The character of DiCaprio is said to be seeking vengeance against the people who left him for dead after being mauled by a bear.

Meanwhile, DiCaprio has already been working with the United Nations as he spoke last Tuesday during the UN Climate Change Summit held in New York. He asked the leaders of all countries, to take action regarding the biggest challenge that the world is facing today.

DiCaprio is also busy with his foundation, which is being pointed out as the main reason why the UN Secretary General appointed him to be the new voice for climate change advocacy.
