Fortunately, during the Hong Kong Harbin Ice Festival she attended last October 3, the actress stated that she is now about 50% recovered from her facial paralysis. Additionally, she said that her mood has gotten better, assuring the public of her well-being.

The Tahitian-born actress reportedly revealed that she had gone to a trip to France a few weeks ago which she claimed helped her to relax.

"I requested for a vacation from my company and went to the outskirts of France with a female friend," Koon said. "Hopefully, I could fully recover in about a month or more."

Furthermore, Koon shared that it wasn't before 20 days before her facial paralysis showed improvement subsequent to her diagnosis. She expressed that she had been upset over the diagnosis, but now, she claims to be in a better disposition.

Feeling grateful, the actress also shared that she had received more than 200 messages from her close friends and colleagues, wishing her well. She also thanked actress Liza Wang and Ho Lai Cheun, the Now TV executive, for helping her find traditional Chinese remedies for her illness, but was apologetic for not being able to reply to everyone's messages.

On the one hand, the actress was asked about her opinions regarding the protests happening at Central, Hong Kong. The actress expressed that she is upset over the whole matter.

The 35-year old actress stated that she believed in freedom and democracy, adding that everyone could dream about what they wish to have without restrictions. She also hoped that everything will be resolved in a peaceful manner.
