Grand Theft Auto Online marks its first year anniversary , having been launched on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on Oct. 1 of 2013. The title will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Nov. 18 this year while the GTA 5 PC version will reach the players on Jan. 27 of 2015.

GTA Online allows a maximum of 16 players to explore the San Andreas and Los Santos areas right now while the upcoming next-gen and PC versions will allow a maximum of 30 players. GTA Online was launched two weeks following the GTA 5 release on Sept. 17 of 2013 as a standalone experience to be continuously played in a dynamic setting.

Rockstar permitted players to enter lobbies and participate in Jobs or cooperative story modes. The players were given access to the Content Creator tool that lets them make guidelines for their custom Jobs. They were allowed to make their crews and join a maximum of five of them.

Rockstar is speculated to release the rumored 1.17 update for GTA Online while YouTube tipster DomisLive shared his consolidated list of wishes compiled through different GTA 5 community sources.

Here's a few of the issues the players want to be fixed in the next 1.17 update: GTA 5 players want Rockstar to stop modders and hackers who spoil their online gameplay with glitches and game-breaking mods which often discourages or distracts them from joining missions hosted through public lobbies.

Players also want the potential to get more cash through online and jobs created by Rockstar instead of through mods and glitches. Another player wants to change a playable character's gender and appearance through plastic surgery.

Players also want a spectator or passive mode that lets them watch the game rather than participating in boring online games or missions.
