The Sharp Aquos Crystal, which was announced in the middle of August, sports a 5-inch screen with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with a pixel density of approximately 294 pixels per square inch.

It's equipped with a Qualcomm MSM8926 Snapdragon 400, a Quadcore 1.2 gigahertz Cortex-A7 processor, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit, 1.5 gigabytes of random access memory, 8GB of built-in memory and a microSD card slot.

It also has an 8-megapixel main camera capable of taking 3,264 x 2,448 pixel photos and 1080p movies at 30 frames per second, a 1.2 MP front facing camera, a Lithium-ion 2,040 milliampere hour battery capable of lasting up to 13 hours with talk time and is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The handsets from Sprint supports the network's Spark LTE network and can make HD Voice calls.

Meanwhile, Sprint is trying to compete with its rival telecom firms by offering businesses a deal that could potentially cut as much as 56 percent in data costs.

The new Business Share Plans will give businesses up to 50 lines in a shared data plan offering as much as 200 gigabytes that eliminates the need to purchase individual data plans for each device.

The plan starts at US$90 for 20 gigabytes of data on up to 10 devices. Larger companies, on the other hand, may avail of a US$675 plan for 200 GB of shared data over 50 lines.
