It seems Coldplay singer Chris Martin and his "Hunger Games" actress girlfriend, Jennifer Lawrence are really hitting it off and getting serious!

The actress flew her mother, Karen Lawrence to Los Angeles for one reason -- to meet her new boyfriend!

It seems the singer is not only a hit with the actress, but he is also a hit when it comes to her mom. It was reported that while visiting, the trio already made plans about spending the Christmas holidays together.

Lawrence's grandparents put truth to the claim when they were interviewed by The Sun yesterday, October 12.

Lawrence's grandmother, Carolyn Koch, told the newspaper that 'Jennifer's mum flew to Los Angeles to meet Chris. We will have to get another chair for the dinner table at Christmas."

"The family is getting so big we might have to split up for gatherings," she added.

Martin and Lawrence have not been keeping their relationship a secure. The two were recently spotted kissing at a Kings of Leon concert in Hollywood, and the actress was spotted several times hanging out at the singer's house in Malibu.

The actress' grandfather, Colin Koch, also spoke about his granddaughter's relationship with the Coldplay frontman.

"Jennifer doesn't like the hype," he said. "She really enjoys doing TV interviews but she's just a great actress."

"She hasn't changed one bit-- she is so humble and down to earth," Koch said about his granddaughter's personality towards fame.

Indeed, this statement is proven true when Lawrence said she wanted a relationship that was low-key and that she wants a boyfriend who will watch TV with her. "Isn't boring so much better than passion?" she asked Vanity Fair.

"I would rather have somebody that has the same taste in reality TV," she added.
