One of the most successful action thriller films released is the movie Taken. The first part of this movie franchise became so big that it made around US$602,000,00 in the box office. And now it is coming back for its 3^rd installment on January 9, 2015 in the United States.

Olivier Megaton who also directed Taken 2 is going to direct it again this time. Liam Neeson is still the lead star of the movie as he comes back for his role as Bryan Mills. His character's life came crashing down when he was accused of killing his wife when he actually did not. And since that accusation, the cops are now chasing him. Mills on the other hand has a plan to hunt down the real murderer and make him pay for what he did.

The movie was shot in Atlanta and Covington, Georgia as well as in Los Angeles, California. As for the action sequence, Neeson is working with a stunt double and they were recently spotted filming some scene in Los Angeles earlier this year. And based on those sightings, it would appear that there are scenes where he would have to deal with mud and water. But it is all worth it since he is reported to agree to the amount of US$20 Million dollars to reprise his role in the movie.

Joining this 3^rd installment are actors Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland), Famke Janssen (X-Men Series), Maggie Grace (Taken), Dougray Scott (Doctor Who), Sam Spruell (Snow White & the Huntsman) and Leland Orser (ER).

The poster of Taken 3 says "It Ends Here" so it is looking like it is the final film of the movie series. It is going to be released earlier in the United Kingdom on January 8, 2015 followed by its US release on the next day.
