It is assumed that Miller will star in a stand-alone 'The Flash' movie in 2018 after starring in the first part of the 'Justice League' film that is rumored to be due in 2017.

During the announcement, Warner also announced that they have a line up of 10 DC Comic films that will come out within the next four years, which represents a highly ambitious attempt to equal or top Marvel Studios.

They also announced that they will not take the same route as Marvel wherein they introduce all their characters in stand-alone films before bringing them all together for one mega movie. Warner decided to release 'Justice League' first, but, the film will be split into two parts and various DC comic stand-alone films will fill in the gaps, some of the stand-alone films will come before Part one, some between Part One and Two and some after the second 'Justice League' film.

The full slate of DC Comic Feature Films are: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 25, 2016), Suicide Squad (2016), Wonder Woman (2017), Justice League Part One (2017), The Flash (2018), Aquaman (2019), Justice League Part Two (2019), Cyborg (2020) and Green Lantern (2020)
