The TV series will follow the couple, John and Jenny Grogan and their three children, a  sixteen-year old, thirteen-year old and six-year old.

The TV series will show the family moving back to Florida so that John can continue his newspaper column. However, a stray puppy appears on their doorstep one day and they decided to adopt the dog and named it 'Marley' since they use Marley's old leash and name tag. The puppy then becomes just like her original namesake --- destructive, and delightful, the puppy ends up shedding light on the Grogan Family's growing pains and the lives of their neighbors.

The Original Film which was released in 2008 was a box office hit, earning $242.70 million worldwide with a $60 million budget and showed the Grogan's starting their family by buying a dog they name 'Marley'

The TV series' cast, crew and release date has not yet been announced. Although rumors of Jennifer Aniston reprising her role has been going around. If the rumors are true this will be Jennifer's return to TV screen, after her last TV role with F.R.I.E.N.D.S, where she played the character 'Rachel'.
