Scandala was founded in 1932 but is eventually revived Berry. She partnered with Lingerie manufacturer Erik Ryd, owner of Hop Lun, to give the brand a global comeback.

"I fell in love with Scandale while I was in Paris, because the brand reminded me of the city itself - beautiful and inspiring," Berry revealed in a news release.

"I am excited for the U.S. debut to be at Target and to launch the brand globally in 2015. I look forward to giving more women the chance to enjoy what European women have come to love for more than eight decades," she continued.

Berry might have taken the new brand, but she assured everyone that the quality and style remains the same.

"We've taken this brand and revamped it," Berry said in an interview. "But we've kept all the qualities of the Parisian sort of style intact."

Her lingerie line comes with 10 bras and panties, highlighting Scandale as a name "rich with history and heritage," all at "a very good price."

As the owner of the Scandale Paris line, Berry plays an active role in design of every piece. She said: "I think I have a pulse on what American women want."

Berry, who won the Oscar for best actress for Monster's Ball (2001) became a household name for her role as a James Bond Girl in Die Another Day (2002) and as Storm in the first three films (2000, 2003, 2006) of the X-Men franchise. Her most recent gig was a starring role in the CBS sci-fi series Extant. The show's second season will air in 2015.
