Melissa Rivers has again honored her later mother, Joan Rivers, but this time it is a Throwback Thursday photo where Joan was seen with Melissa's son, Cooper.

The 46-year-ol s has shared the photo on her WhoSay website on Thursday and captioned the photos with the words: "Connecticut, 2004. Mom + Cooper = BFFs... A perfect day. #TBT."

The photo showed Joan during her younger days and was wearing denim jeans. She appeared to be pushing her grandson Cooper who was on a swing. The swing hung from a big tree and it seems that they were enjoying the day at a neighborhood park.

Cooper then flashed his smile while looking at her mom who took the photo and seemed to be enjoying his time up in the air while being constantly pushed by his grandmother.

Joan passed away back in September 4 and it has been recently released that the autopsy and the cause of death of Rivers is anoxic encephalopathy.

The New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner revealed that upon completion of their investigation, they have concluded that the star died from hypoxic arrest during a laryngoscopy and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy as she was sedated with propofol.

The manner of which the star died was ruled as a therapeutic complication, which means that the death of Joan came from a predictable complication of medical therapy. The clinic that did the procedure is said to be threatened of being stripped off of their license.

Joan was said to have undergone the procedure as she wanted to evaluate her voice changes as well as her gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Melissa has commented on the findings and wrote on her Facebook page that they continue to be saddened about the loss of her mother and that they thank everyone who has been giving them support from all over the world. She pressed that she has no other comments as of the moment.
