Mitt Romney Pep Talks Tom Tillis For North Carolina Senate Race In YouTube Video

Former candidate Mitt Romney, who represented the Republican party during the 2012 presidential candidacy, gave Tom Tillis a pep talk for the North Carolina Republican Senate Race in an advertisement that was released on YouTube by the United States Chamber of Commerce on Oct. 29.

The midterm election is just right around the corner and the Romney advertisement boosted Tillis' campaign. The ad from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a powerful business vestibule, has featured praises from Romney himself to encourage voters in supporting Tillis.

"If you want to shake up Washington, then your candidate is Thom Tillis," Romney said in the ad. He said Tillis will roll up his sleeves and go right to work to fix the mess that Obamacare has started.

Romney added that Tillis is the man who will launch thousands of jobs and will improve the U.S. economy.

He added that Tillis started as a paperboy who then became a short order cook and eventually ended up as an executive in one of the great companies in the U.S.

Tillis was the executive and partner of accounting giant known as PriceWaterhouseCoopers and he is currently the speaker of North Carolina's State House.

According to CBS News and New York Times, they have analyzed that the campaign between Tillis and incumbent Senator Kay Haygan for the said post is one of the tightest and closest races in the country.

Both candidates are neck and neck in the campaigns with the midterm election in just a couple of days. The latest polls released last week show that Hagan is just ahead by three percent as Tillis is at 41 percent.

The Republicans need six more seats so they can hold the Senate.
