Meghan's single is now the longest leading No.1 ever on Epic Records, "Bass" as it is sometimes called has jumped past Iggy's "Fancy" for the longest Hot 100 rule by a female singer this year, the record was previously held by Lorde with her song "Royals."

The song also drew in 13.2million streams in the U.S. Alone. In addition to her record breaking single, Trainor also debuted on No.93 her new song "Lips are movin" which is from her upcoming album "Title" which comes out in January 2015.

"All about the bass" was a brainchild of both Trainor and her producer Kevin Kadish, the song was originally entitled "All Bass, No Treble" and it only took the duo 40 minutes to finish writing the song, Trenor recalls that she even said that no one would like the song and they would never make a dime out of it. But after shopping it around Hollywood Meghan hit the jackpot when she met Paul Pontius, who eventually brought her to LA Reid who got her signed after having her wait 20 minutes in a conference room with no mobile phone.

Trainor insists that she is happy about where things are now and if a record breaking hit does not happen again, she is fine with it.
