Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson's grandmother and mother to June Shannon, Sandra Hale, admitted that when her granddaughter Anna Cardwell came to her to tell her that Mark McDaniel had sexually abused her, she wanted to kill him.

McDaniel had a relationship with Shannon ten years ago when he allegedly abused Cardwell when she was 9 years old. Cardwell is also Shannon's daughter. Shannon has since rekindled her romance with McDaniel.

According to Hale, she took Cardwell to the police station to help her report the incident since she was a minor at that time and, didn't know what to do. Hale was the one who had initiated the charges against McDaniel.

Now that Shannon is once again with McDaniel, Hale shared that she fears for the safety of her 9-year old granddaughter Alana who is currently in the custody of Shanon.

When asked if she thinks if it's possible that Alana might be sexually abused by McDaniel too, she replied, "Yes. The reason I say that is because that's about the same age he likes. [The same age] he messed with Anna."

Cardwell, who is now married with a child of her own, shared that she will not allow her mother to see her daughter Kaitlyn as long as McDaniel is around, sharing that she doesn't "want him nowhere near my child. Nowhere close to her."

Although she loves her mother, Cardwell shared that she believes that their relationship is over and, that she is extremely hurt that her mother has chosen to be with him again despite knowing what he had done to her in the past.

Shannon denies that she is in a relationship with McDaniel again, but she, along with Alana, has been photographed with McDaniel. She has also allegedly purchased two cars in Macon, Georgia - one of which is said to be a gift for McDaniel.
