Yung's father has allegedly opened a new night club in Mainland China recently and has incurred debts again due to the business. The 34-year old actress didn't have a choice but to pay for her father's debt. However, after doing so, the actress claimed that she will not pay for any of her father's liabilities again.

"I have nothing to do with him anymore," the actress allegedly stated when interviewed by the media regarding the matter.

Yung's parents have filed for a divorce when she was only 15 years old and it is assumed that their mother raised her and her younger brother on her own, thus the actress' decision towards the matter concerning her father.

Furthermore, the actress is said to have paid for her father's insurance debts back in 2000. Said debts amounted to $70,000 HKD. Back then, her father is said to have gone missing and the debtors came to her house, asking for the payment.

The same year, Yung also gave her father some money in order for him to start a clothing wholesale business. However, the business eventually failed.

Although her statement might bring about criticism, her manager, Mani Fok, released a statement through a phone interview, explaining that Yung is a filial daughter who has done her responsibilities to her family.

Furthermore, according to Fok, Yung has decided that she and her family will not be responsible for her father's debt nor respond to him and his debtors as a form of protection and security for her mother and brother.

Additionally, Yung's lawyer, Daniel Wong, stated that the actress doesn't have any obligation to pay for her father's debts unless she signed legal documents that would prove her as the borrower.
