A source close to the band revealed that Jagger is still recovering from a serious throat infection. With the band set to perform Wednesday night in the midst of Saturday's cancelation, fans are waiting in anxious anticipation for the concert.

The Rolling Stones' private jet touched down in Sydney last night. Shortly after 6 p.m., fans are given a first glimpse of the band ahead of the concert Wednesday.

Meanhwile, Frontier Touring has yet to release an official statement on Jagger's health, according to a source close to the band. However, the members were reportedly enthusiastic settling into their hotel in Sydney so that Jagger may continue "resting for the next couple of days".

This could be a sign that Jagger's condition may affect other shows on the tour. The band meanwhile is doing all their best efforts to prevent another cancellation because of their fans' loyalty, according to the Daily Telegraph.

"It's going around the touring party," according to the source close to the band.

The 71-year-old front man is currently steadfast in taking doctors' orders so that the next show will push through.

Apart from the band's fans, the source mentioned that Jagger's throat problem have affected people working with The Rolling Stones too.

The band has reportedly gotten rave reviews for their other concerts. However, Jagger's current health issue is one that's most talked about. It has not been a good year for the Rolling Stones' Australian tour. The entire tour was reportedly postponed in March after L'Wren Scott, Jagger's girlfriend, died from suicide.

Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones released a statement right after the band's scheduled performance at Hanging Rock was cancelled.

They said they were "incredibly disappointed ... but left with no other option".

Noise11.com also got caught up with the Rolling Stones' musical director and keyboard player Chuck Leavell. Chuck just said Mick Jagger is "improving" and that Sydney should still push through.

One good sign showing Jagger was getting better is the Sydney song request page going live on the Rolling Stones website today.

According to Noise 11, the songs Sydney fans can now vote for are:

Live With Me (from Beggars Banquet, 1968)
Let It Bleed (from Let It Bleed, 1969)
Rocks Off (from Exile On Main Street, 1972)

Just My Imagination (from Some Girls, 1978)
