Bill Cosby Accused of Raping 13 Women: Grave Allegations Persisted for Decades

Bill Cosby was nailed by Hannibal Buress' stint in a comedy act in which he was named a rapist. It went viral and allegations were further emphasized by the prevailing sentiments of the public through social networking sites. CNN revealed images of Cosby blatantly portrayed as a rapist in several twitter posts.

Washington Post also featured Barbara Bowman's tragic tale in the hands of Cosby.  She narrated her allegations against the comedy icon, from the time she was an aspiring actress under his tutelage until she was molested for several times.  She was eager to advance her career in the entertainment industry back then and considered it as part of the bargain. Until such time that she couldn't stand the horror of it and decided to seek legal attention.

Her cry for justice has fallen on deaf ears; she appeared on several interviews to share her grief with Robert Huber of Philadelphia Magazine and Katie Baker for Newsweek. She readily agreed to testify when another Cosby's alleged victim, Andrea Constand filed a lawsuit.  However, it did not prosper because that was settled by Cosby, Washington Post reported.

After Constand's allegations were made public, another report on Tamara Green's complaints hit the media. This was followed by another accusation from Beth Ferrier.

CNN shared that Cosby's legal counsel, Walter M. Philips Jr., considered all allegations of rape against his client absolutely absurd.

Amidst grave accusations, Cosby's career as a Comedian remains untouched.  After his successful comedy tour, he is again slated for next year's NBC sitcom and a comedy special on Netflix soon.
