Among Bieber's mishaps included paying US$80,000 to a former neighbor after throwing eggs at his house, attending anger management class and punching a paparazzo in Paris.

But with over 56.6 million Twitter followers, Beiber always enjoys sold out concerts wherever he goes, which has been the biggest factor why he earned that much in the past year.

The 20-year-old pop singer is now working on his next album and has released 15-second teasers of each of the 11 songs that he's working on via his Instagram account. The exact date as to when his new album will be released hasn't been released yet.

Forbes' released who's who among the highest-earning young celebs based on its research for the annual Celebrity 100 list, which assesses the earnings of celebrities from June 2013 to June 2014.

Bieber ranks 33rd on the over-all Celebrity 100 list.

Forbes computes the rankings based on entertainment-related cash they plowed in. The figures are based on their gross, so taxes, management fees and other expenses are not factored in.

One Direction (average age, 21) comes in at No. 2, which earned over US$75 million between June 2013 and June 2014. Hailed as UK's biggest singing group today, the group has recently launched their new album, Midnight  Memories, which reached the No. 1 spot on Billboard's 200. Their single, "Story Of My Life" went multi-platinum.

Taylor Swift, meanwhile, placed No. 3, earning over US$64 million. It's expected that the celebrity will also make it into next year's list, thanks to the mega success of her new album, 1989, which debuted in October.

29-year-old Bruno Mars placed fourth with US$60 million. His latest album Unorthodox Jukebox went double platinum. He also grabbed the record of being the youngest musician to play the Super Bowl halftime show.

Rihanna maked it to No. 5, with US$48 million. But other than her big paycheck from her substantial album sales, the singer also earns from her line of fragrances.
