Officer Darren Wilson, who is heavily under the scrutiny of the public eye, reportedly got married to a fellow officer from the Ferguson Police Department recently amid the case filed against him over the shooting of teenager Michael Brown.

According to a St. Louis County marriage license, Wilson has married Barbara Lynn Spradling back in Oct. 24. The couple has been sharing a home in St. Louis even before they got married. However, there were no other details presented regarding the said report.

Wilson's wife is said to be nine years older than him. He also had a previous marriage that ended in divorce. Wilson and his first wife's marriage resulted to having one child. As for Spradling, this is her first marriage.

The marriage license also pressed that the ceremony was performed by Municipal Judge Christopher Graville and it took place in Oakland.

The officer has not been in service and was on a paid administrative leave ever since the day of the shooting. He was also rarely seen publicly. He also was not active on his social media accounts amid the controversy as well.

Wilson's shooting of Brown has been one of the hottest topics linked to racial-related causes and it has been investigated by St. Louis County grand jury. It was recently decided by the court that Wilson will not be indicted.

Due to the verdict, protesters bombarded the officials with bottles and the officers in turn fired shots. Crowds were also broken up near the St. Louis County as they fired tear gas and smoke. A police car was reportedly also set on fire and there was also looting in a cellphone store after the announcement over the case.

President Barack Obama has addressed the situation in Ferguson as he spoke from the White House. He said, "We need to accept that this decision was the grand jury's to make." He continued to say that the nation is built on the rule of law.
