Students From Florida Ran A "Prostitution Ring"

Police officials have confirmed that two students from a high school located at Southwest Florida have tried to recruit fellow students into a "prostitution ring", but were ratted out to the administrators of the school.

According to an arrest affidavit, there was one 15-year-old male teenager that "pimped" out high school girls and worked with another 17-year-old female teenager. The two were reportedly charged with human trafficking.

In connection with this, another 21-year-old man has been charged with sexual battery as it was found out that the victim of the man was around 15 years old. Police officials pressed that he paid the girl from Riverview High School with US$40 and a bottle of alcohol in exchange for sex.

The arrest happened on Tuesday when detectives from Venice, Florida, announced the indictment. Venice Police added that the investigation will continue and that there might be more victims of the teenagers.

According to the officials, the prostitution ring was an idea between the two students and it started back in August 13 when they were exchanging online messages specifically on their Facebook accounts. The messages were about this business plan to sell "hoes" as they thought of the following rates: US$50- US$70 for oral sex and US$100 for having sex with a virgin. The prostitutes will be getting a 40 percent cut.

They also talked about the ages of the prostitutes and the details of the operation. 17-year-old identified as Alexa Nicole De Armas said in one of the messages: "lol we need to start a business."

De Armas reportedly was the one who convinced the girl named "Megan", the one who was paid with $40 to have sex with 21-year-old named John Mosher. Police then pressed that after the incident with Megan, De Armas and the 15-year-old boy knew how easy it was so they recruited more girls to have sex with their clients.

De Armas and the boy reportedly used the money they got from their "business" to buy drugs and liquor. The 15-year-old who was charged is reportedly in the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice but no other information was released about him.
