Tiger Released By Putin Blamed In Death Of Chinese Goats

Russian President Vladimir Putin has released three tigers into the wild and reports claim that one of the three animals is responsible for the death of Chinese goats.

Months after the tigers were released, a Siberian tiger is said to be the culprit for the deaths of the goats specifically in north-east China. The tigers were released by the Russian ruler during one of the wild animal-themed event related to public relations.

The Chinese state media, Xinhua, pressed that local authorities noted the tiger identified as Usti has already killed to goats. Three more goats are reportedly still missing and are rumored to have been killed as well by the said tiger.

A witness told the news agency that the skulls of the dead goats were actually crushed with puncture holes and it was compared to the size of a human finger. Ustin plus one of the three tigers reportedly crossed the border to China back in October as they were both installed with tracking devices.

This is not the first time that the Siberian tigers are being accused of killing the livestock in China as the other tiger identified as Kuzya reportedly attacked a henhouse also located in north-eastern China. There were reportedly five chickens at a farm located in Luobei County in Heilongjiang province.

Xinhua did not elaborate on how Kuzya was identified as the culprit but the news agency pressed that the two tigers being tracked to have entered China is proof enough.

Farmers are reportedly to hunt down these tigers.
