(Photo : Reuters) It might be a little early to start the leaks for the iPhone 7, but one source in Taiwan is confident Apple is building a glasses-free 3D display for the next generation smartphone.

Apple could be planning to release two smartphone models in 2015 -- the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 7.

The iPhone 6 will be released in the spring of 2015 while the iPhone 7 will be the flagship smartphone and will be released in September. The iPhone 6S is a companion for the Apple iWatch, which is set to be released in March or April 2015.

Rumors about the next iPhone have started and the latest one is the concept that highlights an all-screen iPhone  without bezels and that has a larger display while maintaining a small device footprint at a maximum of 5 inches.

The render applies to the current iPhone screen which stretches diagonally to 4.7-inch. Based on Apple's past release dates, the iPhone 7 with an A9 application processor could be on store shelves early in September 2015.

Apple is also said to be searching for an engineer to design apps that easily integrate with virtual reality capabilities and features. Apple may develop in-house apps deployed by default along with the next-gen iOS.

The Cupertino company may also manufacture an in-house VR hardware based on Apple's previously published patents, including "an Oculus Rift-style headset." The iPhone 7 is rumored to have a 3D glassless panel protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 display.

Apple could follow up its current iPhone 6 flagship smartphone with the iPhone 6S that could be replaced by the iPhone 7 set for release in Q3 2016.

Reports say Samsung will be the biggest application processor supplier in early 2016. Samsung processors will power future Apple iPhone and iPad models.
