Earlier last week, there were rumors circulating about a potential "Street Fighter V" after a trailer was leaked, but the video was quickly turned to private. However, Japanese game developer Capcom took the stage of the event to confirm the rumors, and the fighting game will indeed be coming.

Unfortunately for Xbox One gamers though, "Street Fighter V" will remain a PlayStation-exclusive game. Capcom will be utilizing a cross-platform multiplayer for the game with PC as well; meaning PlayStation gamers are going to be able to match up against PC gamers.

"Business deals happen. We won't do all of them. When we have a first party franchise in a genre I'd rather invest in ours," Microsoft's head of Xbox Phil Spencer said on Twitter when asked about the exclusivity of the upcoming game.

As seen in the trailer that was shown by Capcom during the event, the newest installment to "Street Fighter" appears to be implementing new stage transitions, guard breaks and some mysterious character power-ups:

Additionally, game designer David Jaffe, known for the "God of War" franchise, unveiled a PlayStation 4 third-person multiplayer arena shooter game called "Drawn to Death." The game will be implemented in sketchbook-style art, as "Drawn to Death" will be set inside a high school student's notebook.

Jaffe's new studio, The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, will reportedly collaborate with Sony San Diego to create the PS4-exclusive project. The game is currently in the early stages of production.
