‘Victoria’s Secret, ‘Rudolph' Help CBS Dominate Tuesday Ratings

CBS conquered Tuesday night's ratings with the help of "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."


Aside from "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" and the Christmas Special "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", ABC's "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" and CW's drama series and Fox's comedy series had fallen on the high end of the ratings arrays.

The ratings for FX's "Sons of Anarchy" is expected to be released on Wednesday. It is also expected to gain higher ratings because it just aired its much awaited series finale.

Based on preliminary Fast National Nielsen data, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" got the lead with a 2.8 rating and having 10.7 million viewers. "NCIS" followed "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" which aired at a special time, got a 1.7 rating and 10.2 million viewers while the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" got a 3.3 rating and 9.1 million viewers.

NBC network, which is considered a Tuesday leader in young adults, got a 2.2 rating and 10.9 million viewers from "The Voice." The shows "Marry Me" got a rating of 1.2 and 4.9 million viewers and "About a Boy" got a 0.9 rating and 3.7 million viewers. NBC network also aired on NBC news about Angelina Jolie's directorial project "Unbroken." The special got a 1.3 rating and 4.7 million viewers.

For the Fox network, its show "MasterChef Junior" remains consistent with its ratings; the reality cooking show got a 1.6 rating and 4.9 million viewers. "New Girl" got a 1.5 rating and 3.3 million viewers and "The Mindy Project" got a rating of 1.2 and 2.6 million viewers.

ABC's holiday special "Santa Claus is Comin' To Town" got a 1.1 rating and 4.2 million viewers, "Marvel's Agent of SHIELD" fall finale got a 1.7 rating and 5.2 million viewers while "Forever" got a 1.1 rating and 5.1 million viewers.

The two-night "The Flash" and "Arrow" crossover episode got a 1.5 rating and 4.5 million viewers while "Supernatural" got a 1.1 rating and 2.8 million viewers.

CBS got a 2.6 rating followed by NBC and Fox with 1.4 ratings; ABC and CW got 1.3 ratings, Univision had a 0.9 rating and Telemundo got a 0.5 rating.

For the total viewers, CBS is still leading with 10.0 million viewers, followed by NBC with 6.6 million viewers, ABC with 4.8 million viewers, Fox with 3.9 million viewers, CW with 3.7 million viewers, Univision with 2.5 million viewers and Telemundo with 1.3 million viewers.
