While many tend to think that they are more geared toward males, as CNET pointed out, both girls and boys can actually get a lot out of the use of these blocks. This is also one of the main reasons why several toy companies have decided to produce and release their own versions, albeit very similar to Lego.

With the latest ad from the manufacturer being released, girls can now become more motivated and inspired to continue using, playing, and building Lego blocks. Much thanks to this new advertisement, girls are definitely going to be inspired to take on creative endeavors.

The video starts with a mother carrying a baby and is soon followed by a young girl's voice saying "I don't always want you to help me." She explains why this is the case, saying that "I want to figure it out on my own. Even if it doesn't turn out the way I want. I know it's not wrong, because you taught me how to think."

Geek Dad cited that the new ad from Lego is part of the company's #KeepBuilding campaign. As the girl in the ad says, she had a dream wherein she was about to make something that will make her mother proud. These dialogues will definitely incite feelings of wanting to construct something and not giving up despite many obstacles. All in all, the ad is definitely one of the most empowering, inspirational, and encouraging ads released this year.
