Rapper Iggy Azalea has learned that with fame comes tons of criticism, and the best way to handle ridiculous rumors is through humor.

One of the most recent rumors online about the 24-year old performer is that she used to be a man, but had subsequently gotten a sex change operation to be a woman.

Taking to Twitter, the Aussie star posted a reply to the rumor, writing, "Wait, so I'm just now reading that I was born a man and my name is Cody?" the "Fancy" crooner wrote Friday morning. "*Cackling* why Cody tho? Lol. I just don't see myself as a Cody," the Aussie star added. "I'm more of a Liam, if had a penis. Liam Azalea."

The star, who still couldn't get how silly the rumor was, posted another tweet before attending the 2014 Billboard Women in Music Luncheon today. She asked her followers if they thought she was still going to receive her music award since everyone believed that she had or still has a penis.

She also retweeted what some of her fans posted, with one person writing, "@IGGYAZALEA the secrets out your tuck game is strong tho."

Last October, the rapper also made fun of herself and took in stride rapper Snoop Dogg's comment that she looked like Marlon Wayans in "White Chicks" by dressing up as the character for Halloween.

Silliness aside, Iggy Azalea is all-woman as her relationship with Los Angeles Laker Nick Young seems to be stronger and more serious than ever.

The couple have just recently purchased a house together, and people close to the couple believe that it's just a matter of time before the NBA player pops the question.

In a fairly recent interview with DuJour Magazine, Young shared that he and the rapper have been getting a lot closer in recent months, and that he has never been with anybody he has loved more than her.

When asked about marriage, Young stated, "It's come up a couple times."
